Loss Mitigation Specialist

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Pay: $18 per hour
• Location: In-Office Only (Ocala, FL) – Not Remote

We are looking for someone with mortgage servicing (back‑end operations) experience, specifically individuals with a background in default management — loss mitigation, foreclosure, and bankruptcy areas.

As a subject matter expert in loss mitigation techniques and regulations, the Specialist will make informed decisions within the waterfall of loss mitigation options, ensure loan quality, and coordinate with both internal and external partners for timely resolution. Compliance with agency, investor, and guarantor guidelines is essential.

Experience & Skills:

• Knowledge of default loss mitigation servicing, with specific experience in FHA loans preferred
• Underwriting experience strongly preferred
• Experience working on a mortgage servicing platform (MSP or FICS’ Mortgage Servicer highly desirable)
• Prior experience in mortgage servicing or loan servicing roles is advantageous

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Additional education in finance, business, or related field is a plus

Software Skills:

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Mortgage servicing platforms such as MSP or FICS are a plus
