Express Employment is hiring a skilled and reliable Service Technician to help set up and service Modular homes. This role includes on-site home setup, finishing work, transportation-related repairs, and warranty repairs at customer properties across central Alberta. We are looking for someone with a broad hands-on background, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently or with a helper.

Key Skills

• Framing and general carpentry
• Door and window installation
• Siding and roofing
• Flooring installation (various types)
• Tile work and cabinetry
• Finishing carpentry including mouldings
• Minor electrical experience (asset)
• Plumbing experience with Pex and ABS (asset)
• Drywall and painting (asset)
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and customer service skills

Qualifications

• Varied hands-on experience in multiple trades
• Ability to present professionally and communicate clearly with customers
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks
• Able to work both independently and as part of a small team
• Experience working as an independent contractor is an asset

Requirements

• Valid driver’s licence
• Clean driver’s abstract (past three years)
• Willing to travel throughout central Alberta
• Ability to stay out of town for up to a week when required
• Availability Monday to Friday starting at 7 AM
• Comfortable with occasional overtime
• Capable of completing jobs efficiently with minimal supervision
