About the Position

The Community Outreach Coordinator will lead initiatives that strengthen connections within the community and provide essential services to children and families in the Kalihi-Pālama and Liliha neighborhoods. You’ll manage outreach activities, organize events, and build partnerships that support the organization’s mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and launch programs that encourage personal development, family wellness, and social engagement.  
• Organize and promote community events to increase participation and awareness.  
• Collect and analyze program data for reporting and funding purposes.  
• Supervise and mentor staff and volunteers to ensure high-quality service delivery.  
• Develop relationships with local organizations and community leaders to expand resources and support.  
• Prepare regular updates on program progress and assist with budget tracking.  

 

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.  
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.  
• Previous experience in outreach, program coordination, or nonprofit work is a plus.  
• Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain confidentiality.
