Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to transport materials and products safely throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload shipments, ensuring accurate placement of items in designated areas.
• Assist in order picking processes, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.
• Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock locations.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
• Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
• This position does require using a forklift with heights.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
• Familiarity with order picking processes and shipping/receiving operations.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to material handling equipment is preferred.
• Ability to operate various types of forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
