Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support a national medical device company in Fort Myers. This is a full-time contract assignment running through mid-January 2026. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to process high volumes of data accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret purchase orders accurately and efficiently

• Enter purchase order data into computer systems following established procedures

• Verify accuracy and completeness of entered data

• Identify and resolve discrepancies in data entries

• Manage order confirmation emails to customers through SAP order management, including communication of backorders and other key order details

• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive data

• Organize and maintain accurate data entry records

• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure accuracy and consistency

• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding data entry and security

• Provide general administrative support as needed

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

• Prior data entry experience with high attention to detail

• Familiarity with SAP or other order management systems preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
