Our client is health care company in Santa Clarita that  is looking to hire a detail-oriented Accountant to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis.

The role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll transactions, preparing reconciliations, and supporting financial reporting. The analyst will collaborate with the CFO and Controller to provide data and insights that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and reconcile financial transactions, including AP/AR, payroll, and bank accounts.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
• Generate and maintain accurate aging reports; resolve discrepancies and customer inquiries.
• Assist with month-end close, compliance, and process improvements.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights through spreadsheets and reporting tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of accounting experience;
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll, and general ledger functions.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, customer service, and communication skills.
