Position: SMT Operator (2nd Shift)
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM EST (Overtime Available)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SMT Operator to join our 2nd shift production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating MyCronic or Universal Fuzion pick-and-place machines and a strong working knowledge of all aspects of SMT (Surface Mount Technology) manufacturing. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain MyCronic or Universal Fuzion pick-and-place equipment, including setup and minor troubleshooting

• Perform SMT-related tasks such as component placement, soldering, reflow, and visual inspection

• Ensure production quality by strictly following established procedures and industry standards

• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production goals and deadlines

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in alignment with 5S practices

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing process efficiency and product quality

• Adhere to all safety policies and operational protocols

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of SMT operating experience, specifically with MyCronic or Universal Fuzion machines

• Solid understanding of SMT production processes, including component handling, soldering techniques, and inspection standards

• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment

• Strong attention to detail, quality-oriented mindset, and excellent problem-solving skills
