Duties:

• Identify customer needs and recommend the right metal products, services, and cutting solutions
• Assist a wide range of customers, from trade professionals to DIY shoppers
• Provide tailored solutions that meet customer needs and budgets
• Handle phone inquiries, eCommerce orders, and online quote requests
• Prepare accurate quotes, provide pricing, and follow up to close sales
• Enter customer details, material dimensions, payment info, and order specs into the ERP system
• Communicate and collaborate with supervisors, sales staff, warehouse associates, and drivers to ensure a smooth customer experience
• Support sales goals by tracking stock, monitoring margins, and encouraging repeat business

• A sales-minded approach and a passion for helping customers find the right products
• Strong people skills with the ability to build positive customer relationships
• Excellent organization and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple inquiries across different channels
• A proactive, solutions-driven attitude with the confidence to troubleshoot and adapt
• At least one year of customer service, retail sales, or inside sales experience (B2B preferred)
• Strong computer and math skills, plus clear communication and solid problem-solving abilities
