Production Associate--Injection Molding

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Injection Molding Associate to join our first-shift production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in plastic injection molding operations and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency. This role involves operating and monitoring molding machines, performing quality checks, troubleshooting issues, and supporting continuous improvement in the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor injection molding machines and related equipment.

• Set up molds, tooling, and auxiliary equipment as needed.

• Perform routine inspections and quality checks on parts to ensure compliance with specifications.

• Troubleshoot machine and process issues to minimize downtime.

• Follow established safety and quality standards.

• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.

• Assist with preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in injection molding required

• Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, drawings, and production schedules.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
