$19.00 per hour

Monday- Friday / 2:00pm-10:30pm 

 

A metal manufacturing company in the city of Santa Fe Springs is looking for a 2nd Shift Packer to initially start and train on the 1st shift (5am-1:30pm training).  In this role, you will primarily be responsible for packing metal sheets and rolls in accordance with company standards. Additionally, you will operate a sit-down forklift to move materials as needed.

 

Heavy Carbon Packer Responsibilities:

• Pack and band metal sheets.
• Perform general cleaning tasks that include sweeping and maintaining cleanliness in work areas.
• Operate grinding equipment to smooth and prepare metal sheets and plates for packaging.
• Pack finished products securely, ensuring accuracy.

Heavy Carbon Packer Requirements:

• Will be lifting up to 45 lbs.
• Cutting metals to size using machine
• Open to training how to use machinery.
• Must be able to understand measurements
