The main function of the Mechanic will be to support the maintenance functions of a pharmaceutical plant including machine maintenance, building maintenance and facilities. Duties include installation, inspection, and repair of equipment including electrical work on agitators/mixers, dryers, centrifuges, reactors, chillers, cooling towers, air handler units, exhaust fans, autoclaves, blowers, valves, control panels, and various sanitary design pumps and valves within a cleanroom environment. The Mechanic will troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues. The ideal candidate will provide input for preventative maintenance and procedures throughout all areas of coverage.
