Flatbed Truck Driver – Temporary Assignment (2–4 Weeks)

Pay: $25–$26 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Location: near Racine & Pershing, Chicago, IL

We are seeking a temporary driver to fill in for a team member on leave. This role involves transporting industrial pump products and long tubes using a flatbed truck.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a flatbed truck for local deliveries within the Chicagoland area.
• Secure loads using proper tie-down techniques to prevent shifting or rolling during transit.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.
• Coordinate with crane operators for loading and unloading (no manual lifting required).

Requirements

• Valid regular driver’s license (CDL not required, but CDL holders are welcome).
• Proven experience driving flatbed trucks and securing loads with tie-downs.
• Strong attention to safety—preventing pipes or materials from shifting is critical.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR); DOT medical card preferred.
• Crane experience is a plus (though not required).
