Assembly/Laborer

Located in Winona, MN

Salary: $18-$19/B.O.E.

Assembly/General Laborer Job Summary:

To assemble finished product using parts, sub-assemblies and electrical components to engineering specifications. Reads and interprets blueprints, use full range of precision measuring and gauging tools and various hand tools to perform accurate assembly of machine. Set up and tests finished machines under power, testing for mechanical and electrical difficulties, tracing to their sources and correcting the problems. Performs other related duties as assigned. Responsible for cleanliness of assembly area or any other areas you are working in at that time.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:
· Ability to read and prepare work orders.

· Good organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Valid driver’s license and ability to drive the shop pickup required.

· Forklift driving skills would be a plus but not mandatory.

Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.

 

Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to traverse the stockroom quickly and efficiently.

· Physically able to maintain storeroom inventory and cleanliness.

· Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.

 

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (Required)
• Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
