Salary: $16.00/hr.
Job Title: Truss Assembler Location: Production Facility – Otterbein, IN Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 am-2:30 pm
Job Summary: Join our team as a Truss Assembler! In this entry-level role, you’ll place lumber into jigs, ensure joints are properly plated, read shop documentation, and assist with setup and ejection mechanisms. You’ll work closely with the line foreman while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient workspace.
What You’ll Do:
Review build instructions before starting each run.
Check joints for accurate plate placement.
Participate in training and follow safety protocols.
Stock webs and plates for trusses and assist in general housekeeping.
Work in a fast-paced environment and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Entry-level; ability to read a tape measure required.
Must provide own 22oz hammer and tape measure.
Ability to lift moderately heavy loads frequently (up to 25 lbs).
Comfortable with repetitive tasks and fast-paced work.
