Overview
Our client is seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to their private ENT practice in Arvada.

The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative and clerical duties. This role is essential in ensuring smooth clinic operations, accurate medical documentation, and efficient patient flow. Candidates with experience in medical office management, familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, and strong communication skills will thrive in this position.

 

Responsibilities

• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently using EMR systems
• Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance eligibility and benefits verification to facilitate billing processes.
• Schedule patient appointments accurately utilizing medical scheduling software; coordinate with healthcare providers to optimize clinic flow.
• Collect and process payments through medical billing and collection procedures, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documentation review and filing in compliance with health information management standards.
• Handle multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette; respond promptly to patient inquiries and direct calls appropriately.
• Support administrative functions including filing, faxing, scanning documents, and managing office supplies.

Experience

• Prior experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly preferred; experience in private practice is advantageous.
• Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic
• Familiarity with insurance verification processes and medical billing practices.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and data entry tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette.
• Office management experience including scheduling, filing, and handling multi-line phone systems is desirable.
