Human Resources Generalist (Temp-to-Hire)
Compensation: $70,000–$90,000, depending on experience
Location: Philadelphia region (onsite, full-time)

Specialized Recruiting Group, a division of Express Employment Professionals, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for a well-established construction company in the Philadelphia region. This full-time, onsite role supports both field and office employees in a fast-paced union environment.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting & Onboarding

• Support recruitment for union and non-union roles

• Partner with union halls and manage ongoing communication

• Conduct onboarding, new-hire paperwork, and orientations

• Maintain personnel files and assist with employee relations

Union HR & Payroll

• Process union timesheets and verify accuracy

• Run payroll in ADP, including adjustments and reporting

• Manage union benefit reporting and certified payroll compliance

• Ensure adherence to CBAs, wage regulations, and prevailing wage requirements

HR Operations & Compliance

• Track training, licenses, and safety certifications

• Maintain HRIS data and support compliance audits

• Respond to employee inquiries and support day-to-day HR operations

• Generate reports and assist with HR documentation

Qualifications

• Required: Union HR experience

• Required: ADP experience

• Experience supporting field or construction-based employees

• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills

• Preferred: SAGE 100 experience
