Quality Control Inspector

Salary: $23.00 - $27.00

Job Summary:

The Quality Technician supports quality control operations in a manufacturing environment, ensuring products and processes meet established standards and specifications. This role involves hands-on inspection, testing, documentation, and reporting, as well as contributing to a safe and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect cast floats, float assemblies, metal fabrications, hardware, and lumber

• Monitor and inspect the casting process per drawing and specification requirements

• Conduct concrete testing per ACI/PCI and customer standards

• Scan and maintain production and inspection documentation

• Perform safety inspections and tasks in accordance with company policies

• Accurately document and record all quality control activities

• Support additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum of 1 year of quality control or concrete-related experience

• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade 1 certification required

• Ability to obtain PCI Quality Control Technician Level 1 & 2 certifications within 12 months

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and use of a document scanner

• Ability to read and interpret production drawings and technical documentation

• Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with occasional exposure to outdoor elements, machinery, dust, and moderate noise. This role requires sitting, standing, walking, and use of hands for computer and inspection equipment. Visual requirements include close and distance vision, color perception, and focus adjustment.
