The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling components and finished products according to company specifications and quality standards. This role ensures that all products are built accurately, efficiently, and safely to meet customer expectations.
Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and diagrams.
Assemble components and products using hand tools, power tools, and/or automated equipment.
Inspect parts and assemblies for accuracy, quality, and completeness.
Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Report any defects, issues, or discrepancies to the supervisor.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
Assist with inventory management and material handling as needed.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high attention to detail.
Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Basic math skills and ability to read measurements.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to [insert weight], and perform repetitive tasks.
Team-oriented with good communication skills.
