Job Title: Quality Inspector – Steel Fabrication

Location: Minster, OH

Position Overview

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our steel fabrication team. This role is responsible for inspecting in-process and finished steel products to ensure they meet print specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, can read blueprints accurately, and is comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect in-process and finished steel products for accuracy and quality
• Read and interpret blueprints and job prints
• Verify dimensions using a tape measure
• Inspect welds, paint, and overall workmanship for compliance with specifications
• Document inspection results and report non-conformances
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials as needed
• Follow all safety and quality procedures

Required Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Experience inspecting steel, metal, or fabricated components preferred
• Knowledge of weld and paint inspection standards is a plus
• Forklift experience required (certification preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment
