Overview:
Seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead general accounting and fiscal operations. This role is responsible for managing the general ledger, financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and construction-related accounting functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and a solid background in construction accounting, including job costing and percentage of completion methodology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis

• Prepare consolidated financial statements and detailed financial analysis

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff

• Establish and document accounting policies and procedures

• Lead construction accounting activities, including job costing and WIP analysis

• Review and administer contracts to ensure compliance

• Provide financial reports for senior leadership and board

• Support external reviews and audits

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA/CPA preferred)

• 5–10 years of accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a managerial or senior cost accounting role

• Strong experience in construction accounting, job costing, and percentage of completion accounting

• Proficiency with Foundation software (2–3 years), Microsoft Excel, and Word

• Excellent communication skills

• Knowledge of US GAAP
