 Applied A& P experience. Three years plus aircraft parts experience.

$25/HR.

Performs dimensional and visual inspection of incoming purchases and product from UAC stock. Must be able to read and comprehend drawings, mil-specs, OEM specs, military technical orders, and military overhaul manuals. Must be able to use normal inspection equipment, understand processing as it relates to magnetic particle inspection, Cad platting, heat treat, chrome plating, etc. Approves work orders for production in accordance with technical data.

Receiving / Final Inspection:
Performs visual inspection of all products from UAC stock or outside suppliers. Performs routine visual inspection of new surplus products. Must be capable of using calipers, micrometers, depth gauge, and height gauge. Final inspection buy off of production/work orders ensuring completion in accordance with appropriate technical data. Performs other associated duties as directed.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

1. Inspects all received product shipped, stocked, or for current production.
2. Verifies all certifications and test reports to assure compliance to purchase order, sales order, work order and manufacturing order requirements.
3. Completes all required documentation requirements for routing of product out of inspection area.
4. Assures all inspection records have been properly identified, logged and filed by UAC job reference number.
5. Performs in-process inspection and spot checks work being performed in the production shops.
6. Reviews work orders and manufacturing orders as necessary.
7. Works under limited supervision; receives no instruction on routine work and general instructions on new assignments.
8. Completes all necessary documentation for shipping & packaging and for release to shops for production.
9. Performs any other related duties deemed necessary by Quality Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Certified A& P required.
Experience: Applied A& P experience. Three years plus aircraft parts experience.
Required skills: Knowledge of calipers and related instruments. Shipping and handling,drawing tech orders, etc.
