Facility Maintenance Technician Location: Alexandria, LA Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Pay: $15
Job Overview: We are seeking a dependable Facility Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative upkeep across our facility. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, safety-focused, and able to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and maintenance of equipment, machinery, and facility systems
Complete minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
Maintain clean and safe work areas
Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
Collaborate with management on maintenance priorities and needed repairs
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license required
Previous maintenance or facility technician experience preferred
HVAC experience preferred but not required
Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
Ability to use hand and power tools safely
Strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions
Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision
