Job Title: Experienced Medical Billing Clerk
Location: Newbury Park, CA
Salary: $21-$23/hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

About the Position:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Billing Clerk to join our well-established, friendly team in Newbury Park. This role will involve billing and processing workers' compensation and personal injury claims, verifying insurance and benefits, and working with insurance companies, doctors, and attorneys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Billing and processing workers' compensation and personal injury claims.
• Verifying insurance and benefits information.
• Following up with insurance companies, doctors, and attorneys.
• Maintaining excellent phone and written communication with clients.
• Performing meticulous data entry.
• Working in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills (both phone and written).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Prior experience in a HIPAA-compliant environment is preferred.
• Experience in medical billing and insurance verification is a plus.
