We’re looking for a Truck Tire Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair truck tires for commercial vehicles. This role is completely in-shop work. Additional duties include retreading tires, buffing and cementing tires.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, balance, rotate, and repair truck tires.
• Diagnose tire issues and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Use tire equipment such as mounting/demounting machines, balancers, and air tools.
• Operate curing chambers, presses and related tread equipment
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Check wheels and rims for wear or damage and perform repairs.
• Help manage tire inventory and supplies.
• Communicate clearly with customers about service needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in truck tire service or automotive work is a requirement!
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and handle physical work.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tire tools/equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, bending, walking, and lifting.
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment and hand tools.
