Salary: $20 - $22/hour

We have immediate openings for Packers for a client in Janesville, a plastics company.  These are 1st shift temp-to-hire openings.

Responsible for assembling boxes and properly aligning them on packing machine to be filled with product. Also responsible for inspecting, labeling, sealing and stacking boxes on skids in preparation for product to be shipped.

 

Essential Functions

• Safely handle and operate any machinery, tools or equipment used.
• Package product in boxes and assemble boxes with provided tape gun.
• Check packages for defects
• Labeling of boxes
• Place finished product on skids and prep for shipment

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience
• Good longevity with previous employers
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to stand throughout shift and lift boxes and material handling

 

Schedule:

• 1st: 7am - 3:30pm Mon - Fri
• 2nd: 3pm - 11:30pm Mon - Fri
• 3rd: 11pm - 7:30am Sun - Thurs

Pay:

• 1st shift = $20/hour
• 2nd shift = $21/hour
• 3rd shift = $22/hour
