Maintenance Technician

Located in Corsicana, TX

Salary: $18+/hr DOE

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a local company in the Corsicana, TX area. 

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6AM - 6PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy equipment and diesel-powered machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Repair and maintain electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and plumbing.
• Inspect, service, and repair overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with operations teams to minimize equipment interruptions.

Requirements:

• 3 years of maintenance experience, specifically with heavy equipment and diesel engines.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, plumbing, and mechanical repairs.
• Experience working with overhead cranes and industrial shop equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities with the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues.
• Ability to work safely, efficiently, and independently.
• Basic computer skills for logging work orders and maintenance reports.
