Some typical tasks performed may include a combination of the following:

• Helping clients file their taxes and ensure the accuracy of various tax forms.
• Prepare their clients to be able to pay any needed fees and review financial record.
• Calculate tax returns, managing communication between clients and tax authorities.
• The tax preparer is responsible for setting up meetings with clients and advising them about saving for taxes.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service abilities and verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with TaxSlayer Pro
• Tax preparers work with tax managers, who help clients plan out their tax completion process.
• 6+ months of experience.
• Understand the ins and outs of how taxes work and any changes in the preparation process and act accordingly.
