Safety Applications Specialist – Industrial Automation and Safety
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00a-5:00p

We’re looking for a technically minded, customer-focused professional who’s ready to grow their career in a collaborative, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Care, and Business Development teams to assist customers on company products.
• Process RMAs (Return Material Authorizations), including visual inspections, light programming/calibration, and repairs.
• Provide basic technical support via phone and email to customers and internal team members.
• Stay current on company products and services to deliver expert-level assistance.
• Maintain company-issued assets (computer, cell phone, etc.) in good working order.
• Offer competitive product crossovers to support sales initiatives.
• Occasionally travel for joint customer visits or on-site support as needed.
• Keep accurate expense reports and submit them monthly.
• Update Outlook and CRM calendars with leads, activities, and follow-ups.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in application engineering
• Familiarity with PLCs, network devices, and machine safety concepts required; (TUV certification preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM, and ERP systems.
