Bookkeeper

Located in Mississauga, ON

Salary: 22.00/hr

One of our growing manufacturing client based in Mississauga dedicated to quality, innovation, and efficiency. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Bookkeeper with 1–2 years of experience to join our team and support our day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries

• Process vendor invoices, employee expenses, purchase orders, and payments

• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial statements on a monthly basis

• Assist with payroll preparation and related documentation

• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures

• Prepare basic financial reports for management review

• Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments to resolve billing or payment issues

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting best practices

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (manufacturing environment preferred but not required)

• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)

• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial recordkeeping

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel

• High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
