Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Rental Operations Clerk for a local client in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  As a Rental Operations Clerk, you will play a crucial role in the rental operations team, ensuring that every order is processed accurately and efficiently. This role involves hands-on work with specialized equipment, precise inventory management, and delivering a smooth, customer-focused experience. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Accurately scan equipment in and out of our system to maintain real-time inventory control.
• Handle, move, and organize rental equipment to ensure readiness and availability.
• Assist in preparing and staging outgoing orders for timely delivery.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area at all times.
• Provide professional, courteous service during equipment hand-offs and returns.
• Process outgoing Rental equipment, ensuring that all components are present and in working order. 
• Receiving incoming rental returns, inspecting returns to ensure all parts were returned, undamaged, and in working order. 
• Ensuring returned equipment is clean and returned to the correct location.  

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes.
• A customer-first mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Organized, dependable, and comfortable in a fast-paced warehouse/rental environment

Work Environment and Attire: 

• Pants and closed-toe shoes required.
• Company-provided shirts and PPE for safety and comfort.
