Punch Press Operator – 2nd Shift

Location: Carson, CA

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Punch Press Operator to join our 2nd shift team in Carson. The ideal candidate will set up, operate, and monitor punch press machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely set up, operate, and monitor punch press machines

• Load materials and ensure proper alignment for accurate production

• Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and defects

• Make minor adjustments and tool changes as needed

• Monitor machine performance and report issues promptly

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Complete production logs and documentation accurately

• Assist with other manufacturing tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating a punch press or similar machinery

• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and production instructions

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a 2nd shift schedule

• Adherence to safety and quality standards

• Basic math skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing

• Ability to perform basic machine troubleshooting

• Bilingual in English/Spanish
