Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of custom pressure sensitive labels, tags and related products for virtually all industrial, packaging, and consumer applications. 

 

The Shipping and Receiving Specialist (shipper) is responsible for but not limited to preparing shipments, loading, and unloading trucks, receiving, and warehouse duties.
Hours: Monday - Thursday: 6:30am-4:30pm; $20/hour

• Prepare all necessary shipping documents, core labels and box ID labels for orders as they are completed.
• Review labels and rolls for quality and consistency.
• Label and pack finished product according to job specifications, customer instructions, and shipping requirements utilizing appropriate materials and procedures for secure and damage-free shipments.
• Keep accurate and meticulous records of each shipment.
• Process order updates by accessing the company database.
• Maintains quality standards by inspecting for quality while performing the various tasks assigned in the Hand Finishing Department.
• Receive and inspect incoming orders from outsourced partners and then prepare these orders for shipment
• Good communication skills.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent attention to detail and color.
• Basic Math Skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
• Must be proactive to catch problems or inconsistencies and bring them to management’s attention.
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.; Bend, reach without restriction.
  
  

Experience with UPS and FedEx a plus
Must be detailed oriented
Forklift experience preferred
