Job Summary
We are currently hiring an experienced Office Furniture Installer to join a growing team in Fort Mill, SC. This position is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented professional with proven office furniture installation experience. The Office Furniture Installer will assemble, install, and configure a variety of office furnishings, including workstations, cubicles, height-adjustable desks, conference furniture, and complete office setups.
Office furniture installation experience is required for this position. Candidates must have hands-on experience as an Office Furniture Installer and be comfortable reading blueprints, following installation specifications, and ensuring all furniture is installed correctly and professionally. The ideal Office Furniture Installer takes pride in quality workmanship, respects customer property, and works efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and install office furniture including desks, cubicles, workstations, filing systems, and height-adjustable desks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and installation drawings.
- Ensure all office furniture is installed accurately according to manufacturer specifications.
- Safely handle and transport furniture components while preventing damage to products and facilities.
- Troubleshoot installation issues and make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers.
- Follow company safety procedures and installation standards.
Requirements
- Required: Previous Office Furniture Installer experience.
- Proven experience installing office furniture, cubicles, modular workstations, or similar commercial furnishings.
- Must have your own toolbox and basic installation tools.
- Ability to read blueprints, layouts, and detailed installation instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift, move, and assemble furniture components throughout the workday.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn new products, systems, and installation methods.
- Ability to work flexible hours when project schedules require.
Schedule
- Primarily Monday through Friday, First Shift.
- Start and end times may vary based on customer and facility availability.
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to accommodate installation projects.
- Flexibility with scheduling is essential.
Compensation
- Starting pay of $18/hr to $25/hr, depending on experience and qualifications.
