We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications. This position is critical in ensuring high-quality production and on-time delivery of parts.
Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, or grinders) to produce precision components.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
Monitor CNC machine operations for proper performance and part quality.
Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments.
Make minor adjustments to machine settings to maintain accuracy and tolerances.
Maintain accurate production records and log machine activity.
Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet production goals.
High school diploma or GED; technical training or certification in CNC operation preferred.
Prior CNC machine operation experience (1–3 years preferred).
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Familiarity with precision measurement tools and quality inspection practices.
Ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Manufacturing shop environment.
Exposure to noise, metalworking fluids, and moving machinery.
Requires adherence to strict safety protocols.
Hourly pay: $18–$24/hr, depending on experience.
