Welder

Salary: $22.00 - $30.00/ hour

Job Summary:
The Welder will be responsible for fabricating steel and aluminum components for government use, ensuring precision and quality in all welds. This role involves reading blueprints and schematics, operating various fabrication tools, and performing MIG and TIG welding with strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weld and fabricate steel and aluminum parts using MIG and TIG processes.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to produce components according to specifications.
• Operate saws, grinders, mills, jigs, and other fabrication equipment.
• Inspect dimensions and quality of welds; ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with quality control for magnetic particle and penetrant inspections; rework failed pieces as needed.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding (steel and aluminum).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with fabrication tools and processes.
• Knowledge of inspection standards (PT, magnetic particle testing) preferred.
