Logistics Coordinator

Salary: $21.15

The Logistics Coordinator will provide efficient and timely shipment of manufactured products while maintaining strong communication with customers. The Logistics Coordinator aids in coordinating the logistic activities among production, warehouse, shipping teams, and customers to guarantee accurate order fulfillment, resolve shipping issues, and customer service.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipping schedules to ensure on-time delivery of finished goods to customers
• Verify quantities and accuracy as customer orders are received and processed
• As the primary point of contact between the company and customers, provide order status, shipment tracking, and delivery timelines
• Collaborate with the production and fabrication teams to align manufacturing output with customer requirements and shipping deadlines
• Monitor and track shipments to proactively communicate any delays or issues to customers and internal teams
• Resolve logistical issues related to shipping discrepancies, damaged goods, or delivery problems by working closely with customers and carriers
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and transportation costs
• Work with freight carriers and third-party logistics providers to negotiate rates and ensure cost-effective transportation solutions
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize shipping processes and customer satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to shipping and transportation
• Ability to occasionally lift office supplies, packages, or file boxes for organizing and administrative support

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.

Schedule & Starting Pay Rate

Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

$21.15/hour
