Triage Coordinator – Position Summary
The Triage Coordinator serves as a key connection between patients and providers, ensuring questions are answered, information flows accurately, and care moves forward efficiently. This role supports patient experience, physician communication, and smooth clinical operations.

Core Responsibilities
• Manage incoming patient calls, gather relevant clinical details, and route concerns to the appropriate physician through the EMR.
• Process and track all outgoing orders and referrals to ensure timely completion.
• Review and respond to EMR messages, schedule follow-up appointments, and coordinate ER patient visits, including uploading hospital records.
• Communicate test, imaging, and pathology results to patients as directed by physicians.
• Facilitate medication refills, complete prior authorizations, and support inter-office communication regarding patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation, monitor task queues, review fax transmission status, and support departmental workflow, including coverage for absent team members.

Education & Experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• At least two years of experience in a medical office preferred
• EMR experience preferred
• Clinical experience strongly preferred
Schedule is Monday – Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
Pay rate of $20/hr to $21/hr DOE
