Accounting/Admin Clerk – Vaughan

Our Vaughan-based client is seeking an Accounting/Admin Clerk to support daily office and accounting operations. This entry-level role works closely with the office team to ensure accurate transaction recording, assist with A/P and A/R, process weekly payroll, and provide general administrative support. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys numbers and is eager to grow into full-cycle bookkeeping.


Responsibilities

  • Process weekly payroll

  • Perform clerical accounting functions (A/P, A/R)

  • Manage purchase orders, vendor invoices, and PO tracking

  • Handle A/R follow-up and collections

  • Assist with weekly EFT payment runs

  • Prepare safety documentation and Certificates of Insurance (COI)

  • Maintain and update certifications for field employees

  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide office support


Qualifications

  • Strong natural proficiency with math

  • Understanding of basic accounting principles

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proficiency with office software and ability to learn new systems quickly

  • 1–2 years of clerical accounting experience

  • Experience with Jonas is an asset (training available for the right candidate)
