Outside Sales Representative (Woodworking & CNC Machinery)

Full-Time Position | Salary: $75,000–$90,000

Position Overview

We are seeking a high-performing Outside Sales Representative with strong technical aptitude and proven experience selling woodworking, CNC, or industrial machinery. This consultative capital-equipment role focuses on driving new business and expanding existing accounts across California, with a primary emphasis on Southern California.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively prospect, qualify, and close new business throughout the California territory.
Demonstrate woodworking and CNC machinery at the Anaheim demo center and at customer sites.
Conduct trials, presentations, and consultative meetings tied to ROI and production needs.
Maintain and grow existing customer relationships through regular visits and exceptional service.
Keep CRM, pipeline, and sales forecasts accurate and updated.
Attend industry events, trainings, and product demonstrations.
Travel frequently within Southern California; occasional statewide travel required.

Required Qualifications

3–5+ years outside sales experience selling woodworking, CNC, or industrial machinery (required).
Strong mechanical/technical aptitude and ability to discuss complex equipment confidently.
Documented record of new business development, quota achievement, and territory growth.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Must live in Southern California; valid driver’s license required.
Ability to commute to Anaheim for demonstrations, trainings, and client meetings.
