Job Title: Inventory and Scanner

Location/Area: Chicago IL, near 95^th Street

Typical Shift/Schedule: M-F 7am-3:30pm

Pay Rate: $18/hr

**Interview also required by manager at job site

Summary / Primary Role:

The position of Inventory and Scanner will have primary responsibility for scanning in and out all product that is sent to the warehouse. Maintaining Inventory integrity.

Qualifications, Education & Key Skills:

High school diploma, or GED

Minimum 1 year of experience with inventory & scanning

Minimum 1 year of experience operating basic office equipment (will be operating a phone, computer, fax and copy machine)

(Management may amend or assign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time)

• Monitor paperwork flow via inbound/outbound load scanning processes.

• Transmit all forms and information to the office as required.

▪ Maintain 100% inventory integrity. Accurately record product locations.

• Maintain document and reporting integrity.

• Assist with physical inventory & cycle counting.

• Scan inbound and outbound orders in systems.

• Completing inbound damage log for railcars/trailers; reporting damages per customer requirements

• Red Tag Program.

• Monitor any issues with inventory locations and correct immediately.

• ALL OTHER DUTIES AND PROJECTS AS ASSIGNED.

Work Environment:

Regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level is usually loud.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms, talk & hear. Required to reach overhead, grasp, bend, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl for extended periods. Able to lift and move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision.
