About the Position

We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Custodian - EVS 'Enviromental Services' to join a team known for exceptional cleanliness, comfort, and customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to support hospital demands in a fast-paced environment. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with potential for growth!

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of guest corridors, public areas, and service closets
• Stock linen closets and remove trash and soiled linens at the end of each shift
• Respond promptly to guest requests and report maintenance issues or lost-and-found items
• Operate cleaning equipment, including vacuums, buffers, and extractors
• Shampoo carpets and clean stairwells, elevators, and other service areas

Qualifications

• Previous custodian experience required; hospital experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to stand and remain mobile throughout an 8-10 hour shift
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must pass a drug screen and background check
