Schedule: Flexible schedule based on resort culinary operations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Pay Range: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour, based on experience

Description:

As a Floating Sous Chef, you’ll be a key part of our culinary team, providing hands-on support wherever it’s needed most. This role is all about execution—jumping in to assist with food preparation, plating, and service across our signature restaurant, banquets, catering, special events, and pop-up outlets.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, adapts quickly to different kitchens, and takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute food preparation and cooking tasks across multiple outlets, ensuring quality and consistency
  • Quickly adapt to different menus, equipment, and workflows in various kitchens
  • Maintain high standards of presentation and guest satisfaction
  • Support smooth service by working collaboratively with diverse kitchen teams
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations rigorously
  • Assist with basic inventory checks and organization in each assigned venue

 Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong line cook experience in a busy, high-volume environment required; resort or hotel experience preferred
  • Solid culinary skills with a focus on precision and consistency
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ServSafe) are a plus
