Warehouse Associate

Job Summary: This role involves receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing products, as well as ensuring the warehouse is clean, safe, and organized. Warehouse Associates are expected to work in collaboration with other team members and ensure products are handled in accordance with safety standards and company procedures.

Location: Meriden and Hartford, CT areas

Shifts: 1st and 2nd shift available

Compensation: $17-22/hr

Duties:

• Unload deliveries, inspect for damages, and check for discrepancies in quantity or product type.
• Organize and categorize products for easy retrieval, using appropriate shelving or bins.
• Ensure proper labeling and tagging of inventory, including barcode scanning when required.
• Double-check order details for accuracy (product, quantity, and packaging) before shipping.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, free from hazards.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Communicate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
