Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Texarkana, AR. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy machinery and equipment. This is a full-time day shift position offering competitive pay based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, dozers, and other machinery

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and safety checks

• Repair and replace hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components

• Identify mechanical issues and determine appropriate repair methods

• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance performed

• Operate equipment to test functionality after repair

• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Qualifications:

• Previous heavy equipment mechanic experience required

• Must have own tools

• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical repairs

• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to lift, stand, bend, and work in varying environments

• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently
