Specification Review Technician I Location: Camarillo, CA Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Pay: $24.50–$26.50 per hour (DOE)
About the Role A manufacturing organization in Camarillo is seeking a Specification Review Technician I to support engineering and sales teams. In this role, you will review customer drawings, specifications, and documentation, then translate those requirements into internal formats and systems. This position requires strong technical understanding, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate with cross-functional teams and occasionally with customers.
Key Responsibilities
Review customer documentation and convert requirements into internal formats.
Enter specification and contract review data into ERP/CRM/engineering systems.
Generate drawings and create part numbers based on customer specifications.
Cross-reference competitor part numbers to internal equivalents.
Support Sales with specification and contract questions.
Answer technical inquiries based on training and guidelines.
Help maintain department procedures and participate in cross-training.
Required Qualifications
Associate degree in electronics or a related STEM field.
Ability to read CAD drawings and technical specifications; strong mechanical aptitude.
Technical writing skills.
Basic understanding of PCB layout.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with source control drawings or military standards.
Knowledge of Y14.5 GD&T.
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics D365 CE.
Bilingual Spanish.
