Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Located in Delavan, WI

All maintenance technicians work under the direction of the maintenance manager.

The ideal candidate has experience with industrial maintenance and manufacturing. Maintenance technician duties may involve welding, machining, machine and equipment repairing, carpentry, and electrical work. May also include planning and laying out of work relating to repairing electrical and/or mechanical equipment: installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment. Along with any other task, as assigned.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

• Inspects and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions making sure all is in a safe condition for operation.
• Inspects machine guarding on a daily basis.
• Dismantles and reassembles defective equipment and machines.
• Installs new or repaired parts.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery as part of regular and/or preventative maintenance.
• Installs and/or repairs wiring and electrical and electronic components
• Assembles, installs and/or repairs pipe systems and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Assembles, installs and/or repairs plumbing
• Paints and repairs woodwork and plaster
• Repairs and maintains physical structure of buildings
• Operates cutting torch or welding equipment
• Fabricates and repairs structures, such as stairs, sheds, and buildings
• Records all work in progress or completed. Reports and/or records work progress or problems with work assigned or safety concerns.
• Other Tasks assigned as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
