Human Resources/Payroll Manager
Our client, an established company in the food and consumer goods sector, is seeking a Human Resources/Payroll Manager to lead HR and payroll operations across multiple regional offices. This key role is responsible for ensuring accurate payroll processing, compliance with multi-state employment laws, and effective management of employee benefits for a team of 160 employees.
📍 Natick, MA💵 $90,000–$105,000 base salary + 10% bonus + profit sharing📅 Direct Hire – Full-Time Opportunity
Responsibilities:
Manage and process bi-weekly payroll across multiple states
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
Maintain employee records and manage PTO tracking
Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
Advise managers on HR policies and employee relations
Oversee benefits administration (health, dental, vision, retirement)
Coordinate annual open enrollment and serve as the main contact with benefits providers
Stay current with employment law changes and ensure compliance
Prepare and submit required reports to leadership and government agencies
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of HR and payroll management experience (multi-state preferred)
Strong knowledge of employment laws and tax regulations
Proficiency with payroll systems (Paychex experience a plus)
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, CPP) preferred
