Job Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on and safety-oriented Car Crushing Manager / CDL-A Driver to oversee daily crushing operations and transport vehicles or scrap materials to and from job sites. This position combines field leadership with truck driving responsibilities. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and leadership skills, a valid CDL-A license, and experience in metal recycling, equipment operation, or heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily car crushing operations and crew activities

• Operate heavy equipment such as crushers, loaders, and excavators safely and efficiently

• Transport vehicles, scrap, and equipment using a CDL-A truck as needed

• Ensure proper loading, securing, and hauling of materials according to DOT regulations

• Maintain and inspect crushing equipment and trucks for safe operation

• Monitor production efficiency and report equipment or safety issues

• Enforce company safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

• Assist with scheduling, job site setup, and customer communication

• Complete all required documentation and logs accurately

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Previous experience in metal recycling, salvage, or heavy equipment operation preferred

• Knowledge of crushing and material handling processes

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Ability to lead and train crew members effectively

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Reliable, safety-conscious, and self-motivated

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
