A government agency serving Collier County is seeking a Legal Assistant to provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and professional staff. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional committed to confidentiality, organization, and public service in a legal environment.
Prepare, edit, and process legal documents including subpoenas, discovery materials, and correspondence
Manage attorney calendars; schedule hearings, depositions, and meetings
Handle calls, emails, and correspondence professionally and confidentially
Maintain electronic and physical case files, exhibits, and evidence
Assist attorneys with case preparation and deadline tracking
Perform general clerical duties including filing, scanning, and records management
High school diploma or equivalent required; legal studies coursework preferred
Prior experience in a legal, government, or administrative office strongly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office systems
Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
Familiarity with legal terminology and court procedures is a plus
