Position Overview

We’re seeking dependable and hard-working Construction Laborers to support a heavy civil project in Indian Trail, NC. This is a 4–6 month assignment involving outdoor site work, assisting equipment operators, and maintaining a safe and efficient job site. The role is physically demanding and ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and contributing to large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in grading, trenching, and material movement throughout the job site.

• Support heavy equipment operations by moving hoses, spotting machinery, and taking accurate field measurements.

• Dig holes, shovel dirt or gravel, and perform other manual tasks in support of excavation and installation work.

• Unload and stage materials and tools from trucks and trailers.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and PPE requirements.

• Work safely around heavy machinery and communicate effectively with the foreman and operators.

Requirements

• Must be reliable and punctual — attendance is critical.

• Comfortable working in wet, muddy, and physically demanding environments.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Must pass a drug screen (THC-tolerant for pre-employment).

• OSHA-10 certification preferred but not required.

• Basic ability to take and record measurements accurately.

• Must provide own work boots; high-visibility vest, gloves, hard hat, and safety glasses will be provided.
